  • Lead Pastor/church Planter

    Pastor Brian MacDonald was raised "just down the road" in the Lakeland/Highland City area. He met his bride, Ella, at Baylor University where they graduated in 2000. After graduation, Brian and Ella moved to Montgomery, Alabama where they served in youth ministry for 9 years while he earned his Masters of Divinity from Birmingham Theological Seminary. In addition, Brian and Ella planted a PCA church in downtown Montgomery. After establishing it over 7 years, they felt a call to return to Polk County in 2017. They found a beautiful historic home in downtown Bartow and have fallen in love with the small town community! The MacDonalds have been blessed with six children: Hudson [19], Henry [17], Nate [16], Jake [14], Oliver [12], and Molly [10].

  • Assistant Pastor

    Pastor Taylor Clark was born and raised in Southeast Georgia. He met his bride, Anne Marie, at Liberty University where she graduated in 2009 and he in 2010. After graduating from Covenant Theological seminary in 2014, the Clark family has served in full time ministry in the PCA in St. Louis, MO, Fenton, MI, Kalispell, MT, Lakeland, FL, and now Bartow. The Clark's have 3 children: Brayden [11], Lydia [8], and Ezekiel [6].

  • Ministry coordinator

    Kris Boll was born and raised in Minnesota. She and her 4 children moved to Lakeland, Florida 15 years ago. She has always had a heart for ministry and the church. Kris has worked as an office manager for a Christian counseling center, Women's Ministry Director at her prior church and as an Administrator for another church plant in Lakeland, FL. 

  • Pastoral Resident/Youth

    Christian Leto was born and raised in Brandon, Florida. Christian and his wife, Mindy, moved to Bartow to provide support to Oak City Church as they strive to strengthen and grow the congregation. When the church has achieved satisfactory growth and health, he desires to plant a new church within Polk County. He graduated from Liberty University and is currently enrolled in the MDIV program at Reformed Theological Seminary. Christian and Mindy are parents to three sons: Darius (14), Jacob (8), and Owen (4). A significant part of Christian's ministry is his passion for youth outreach and mentorship.
